Dental emergencies don't wait for Monday

If you're in severe pain, bleeding, or have a knocked-out tooth, call us immediately at (780) 540-9555. We hold same-day emergency slots every day, including evenings and weekends, so you don't have to suffer through to your next regular appointment.

Most emergencies look scarier than they are — and most can be resolved in a single visit. The faster we see you, the more options we have to save the tooth and reduce the cost of treatment.

The benefits, plainly explained

01

Same-day appointments

Call before noon and we'll almost always see you the same day. Open 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.

02

Knocked-out tooth (avulsion)

Time matters — within an hour gives the best chance of reattachment. Keep the tooth moist (milk or saliva) and call us en route.

03

Severe toothache

Often caused by a deep cavity reaching the nerve, an abscess, or a cracked tooth. We diagnose and stabilize today, then plan the long-term fix.

04

Broken or chipped tooth

From a small chip we polish out in 5 minutes to a major fracture needing a same-day crown — we handle every degree of breakage.

05

Lost filling or crown

We can usually re-cement an existing crown the same day, or place a temporary while we make a new one.

06

Swelling or abscess

Facial swelling is a sign of infection that needs prompt attention. We drain, prescribe antibiotics if needed, and resolve the underlying cause.

What to expect

Your treatment, step by step

1

Call us right now

Phone (780) 540-9555 and tell us what's happening. We'll give you immediate first-aid instructions and book you in — usually for the same day.

2

Triage on arrival

We get you out of pain first — local anaesthetic, drainage, or temporary repair as needed. The exam and x-rays come once you're comfortable.

3

Stabilize the problem

Depending on the situation, we may complete the full repair on the spot or place a temporary and book a definitive treatment for shortly after.

4

Follow-up plan

You leave with a clear understanding of what happened, what we did, what's next, and a written aftercare guide with our after-hours number.

Common questions

What counts as a dental emergency?+

Severe pain, swelling, bleeding that won't stop, a knocked-out or pushed-in tooth, a tooth fractured down to the nerve, or any trauma to the face or jaw. When in doubt, call us — we'll triage over the phone.

Should I go to the ER instead?+

For most dental emergencies, a dentist can help faster and more definitively. Go to the ER only for uncontrolled bleeding, suspected jaw fracture, or signs of a severe infection (high fever, difficulty swallowing or breathing). Then come see us as soon as you're stable.

Will my insurance cover the visit?+

Most plans cover emergency exams and basic stabilization. We bill insurance directly and will tell you exactly what's covered and what's not before any work begins.
