The modern fix for cavities
We don't use silver amalgam fillings any more. Today's composite resin bonds chemically to your tooth, comes in dozens of shades to match your enamel and lets us remove far less healthy tooth structure.
Most fillings are done in a single visit, with minimal numbing — and you can eat as soon as the freezing wears off.

The benefits, plainly explained
Your treatment, step by step
Numb
Topical gel, then a small dose of local anaesthetic. Wait a minute until you're comfortably numb.
Remove decay
A small drill removes only the decayed tooth structure. Healthy tooth stays.
Bond and fill
Composite is placed in thin layers, each cured with a blue light, then shaped to match your bite.
Polish and check bite
We polish, check your bite and adjust if needed. Done.
Common questions
How long do composite fillings last?+
With good home care, 7–15 years is typical. Larger fillings on back teeth wear faster than small ones on front teeth.
Can I eat right after?+
Yes — composite cures instantly under the blue light. Just wait until the numbness wears off so you don't bite your cheek.
Do I need to replace my old silver fillings?+
Only if they're failing, cracked or causing problems. We don't replace functional fillings just because they're silver.
