General Dentistry

Routine checkups, fillings, cleanings, root canals and more — the everyday care that keeps your family's smiles healthy for life.

General Dentistry

The foundation of every healthy smile

General dentistry is everything we do to prevent problems before they start and treat the small ones before they become big ones. It's the heart of our practice and the reason most patients see us twice a year.

From your first cleaning at age one to a complex restoration later in life, the same dental team takes care of you. Continuity matters — and so do hygienists who actually remember your name.

Why patients choose this treatment

The benefits, plainly explained

01

Comprehensive checkups

Full oral cancer screening, gum-health assessment, bite analysis, and digital x-rays — all included with every routine exam.

02

Gentle cleanings

Hygienists trained in modern, comfortable scaling techniques. Sensitive teeth? Tell us — we'll adjust.

03

Tooth-coloured fillings

We use composite resin that bonds to your tooth and matches your enamel exactly. No more silver flashes when you smile.

04

Root canal therapy

Modern root canals are nothing like the horror stories. Most patients describe them as feeling like a regular filling.

05

Same-day repairs

Chipped a tooth at lunch? Many small repairs we can do the same afternoon — no second appointment required.

06

Honest treatment plans

Watchful waiting is a real option, and we'll tell you when it's appropriate. We won't drill what doesn't need drilling.

What to expect

Your treatment, step by step

1

Comprehensive exam

We start with a full assessment — x-rays if it's been a while, intraoral photos so you can see what we see, and a chat about anything bothering you.

2

Hygiene visit

Your hygienist removes plaque and tartar above and below the gumline, polishes, and discusses home-care tips tailored to your mouth.

3

Treatment plan

If anything needs attention, we map it out with timing, costs, and insurance coverage so you can decide what's right for your budget.

4

Maintenance schedule

Most patients come in every six months. We'll book you in, send reminders, and bill insurance directly so the visit is friction-free.

Common questions

How often should I see a dentist?+

Most adults benefit from a checkup and cleaning every six months. Patients with gum disease, orthodontics, or other risk factors may need to come more often — we'll tell you what's right for you.

Do you bill my insurance directly?+

Yes. We submit claims to your insurer at the end of your visit, so you only pay your portion at checkout. No paperwork, no waiting for reimbursement.

What if I'm overdue for a cleaning?+

No judgment, ever. Many of our new patients haven't seen a dentist in years. We start where you are and work forward from there.
